PSL: Islamabad United thump Karachi Kings by using 9 wicket in 2nd playoff


DUBAI: Islamabad United have outplayed Karachi Kings in 2d playoff of Pakistan super League (PSL)and won by using 9 wickets at Dubai international Stadium, UAE.

Islamabad United skipper Misbah ul Haq chose to container first, being not sure of the dew in 2nd innings. His pacers didn’t let him down at all, and with Mohammad Sami’s 5 for 8 in four overs,  United limited Karachi Kings to 111/9.

Simmons at first tried some crackets, but didn’t convert into an immense inning and left to the pavilion with 19 in the bag. Ex Kings skipper Shoaib Malik back for duck! It was once Ryan Doeschate (sixteen) who stayed firm with Bopara to carry up Kings innings ad put up a valuable partnership of forty five runs.

Skipper Ravi Bopara (37) was the highest rating for Kings.

United in reply have been proper on the cash from the beginning and with Bred Haddin (fifty one) and Dwayne Smith (50), they simply chased down the goal in simply 14.2 overs with 9 wicket in hand.

Mohammad Sami, for his brilliant efficiency with the ball, was chosen Man of the in shape.

 Islamabad United will meet Peshawar Zalmi in third playoff. The winner of tomorrow’s encounter will face Quetta Gladiators in remaining!
